Vivian Authement					[Photo]

Vivian Marie Richard Authement, 70, a native of Labadieville and resident of 
Houma, died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Bisland 
Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Hubert Authement Jr. and wife, Regina, of Bourg, 
and Robert "Bobby" Authement and wife, Linda, of Houma; two daughters, Darlene 
Oliver and husband, Merritt, and Lisa Courteaux and husband, Jerrod, of Houma; 
one sister, Linda Prejeant of Labadieville; 14 grandchildren, Philip Lodrigue, 
Crystal Lodrigue, Celeste Besson, James Oliver, Preston Authement, Torie Auth-
ement, Brooke Authement, Brandon Authement, Britny Scott, Christian Scott, Amber 
Scott, Jerrod Courteaux Jr., Jordon Courteaux and Kyle Courteaux; seven great-
grandchildren, Hayden Lodrigue, Dustin Verdin, Meagan Verdin, Kali Verdin, 
Alexis Lodrigue, Trinity Foster and Keith Besson Jr.; six step-grandchildren, 
Bruce Oliver, Eric Oliver, Derek Naquin, Ricky Dupre, Johnathan Fanguy and Jake 
Fanguy; and three step-great-grandchildren, Benjamin Oliver, Colby Oliver and 
Lexi Fanguy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Authement Sr.; her parents, 
Albert Richard and Noeline Gros Richard; and two sisters, Lucille M. Richard and 
Carrie Adams.

She was a general laborer and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
