Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. He is survived by his wife, Rea "Sweety" Chaisson Romano of Houma; his mother, Walterine Price Romero of Houma; two sons, Paul Romano and wife, Kandance, of Tickfaw, and Wade Romano II of Houma; two daughters, Jody Kimble and husband, Toby, and Kaci Babin and husband, Luke, of Houma; two brothers, Ferrell Romano and Glynn Romano of Houma; two sisters, Sally Rhodes and Bonnie Chiasson of Houma; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Romano. He was a leaderman with Gulf Island for 20 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help with medical expenses are preferred.
