A Memorial Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma. It was her request to donate her body to science. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Al and Loretta Pellegrin of Houma; her former daughter-in-law, Kay Murray Pellegrin; three grandsons, Scott Pellegrin of Houma, Matthew Pellegrin of Troy, Ala., and Patrick Pellegrin of Minneapolis; one granddaughter, Jennifer Pellegrin Christensen and husband, Charles, of Minneapolis; four step-grandchildren, Tim and Priscilla Kay, Cindy Breaux and Sharon Nickolaisen; six great-grandchildren, Allie, Courtney and Brook Christensen, Morgan, Patrick and Dillion Pellegrin, all of Minneapolis; four step-great-grandchildren, Timmy and Justin Kay, Jean and Ben Nickolaisen; and one step-great-great-grandchild, Tyler Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Pelle-grin; her parents, Andre Wag-uespack and Armantine Lan-dry Waguespack; one son, David Louis Pellegrin; one granddaughter, Shanna Marie Pellegrin; one brother, Andre Joseph Waguespack; her aunt, Wina Waguespack; and one step-grandson, Terry Breaux. She was a retired registered nurse. She was a graduate of Ascension Catholic High and Hotel Dieu after which she worked for many years as a registered nurse. A woman of great faith, she will be remembered as a strong and very gracious lady who had a great sense of humor and a joyful spirit. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
