"Da-Don" Boudreaux, 79, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Galliano, died at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by one son, John Boudreaux Sr. and wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Eve B. Orgeron and husband, Kenneth; six grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trina Callais Boudreaux; his parents, Lazard and Marie Martinez Boudreaux; one son, Jimmy Boudreaux; two daughters, Jennifer and Jo An Boudreaux; six brothers, Lazard Jr., Wilman, Wilson, Willie, Victor and Gorris Boudreaux; one half-brother Anthony Martinez; and two sisters, Anna Prestenbach and Olanda B. Vizier. He was a retired commercial trawler, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
