Arthur Martin						[Photo]

Arthur Martin, 78, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Chauvin, died 
at 3:44 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist 
Church. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in 
Bisland Cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, Joseph Martin and wife, Louise, Warren Martin and 
Micheal Martin; four daughters, Ethel Greene, Ollie Patterson and husband, 
Woble, Pansy White and husband, Charles, and Rosa Scott; 23 grandchildren; and 
31 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Martin; his parents, Joe Pempiton 
and Elnora Johnson Mills; one son, Arthur Martin Jr.; one brother, Willie 
Parker; and four sisters, Carry J. Larry, Alice J. Polidore, Rosie J. Sims and 
Mildred P. Brooks.

He was an employee of South Coast Corp. until retirement and was a member of 
Mount Olive Baptist Church.
