Kennedy, 80, a native of McGee, Miss., and resident of Gheens, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time today at Gheens Presbyterian Church. Services will be at 8 p.m. today at the church, with burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at Epps Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, William and Charles "Terry" Kennedy; one daughter, Jeanette Freeman; one sister, Mamie McGlawn; nine grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Owens Kennedy; his parents, William Jefferson Kennedy and Janie Dukes Kennedy; two brothers, Troy Kennedy and Hershel Craft; and one sister, Cleo Parris.
