Mass was held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Zoella Adams, Bessie Callais and Essie Hatcher; one son-in-law, Joe Callais; one brother, Irvin "Vin" Bruce; three sisters, Velma B. Eymard, Berna Lee, Gladys Adams; seven grandchildren, Mona Hatcher, Margo Myles, Richard "Dickie" Owen, Kerry Owen, Arleen Autin, Lela Langston and Wade Callais; three great-grandchildren; and two step-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ignace J. Adams; her parents, Levy P. Bruce and Delphine Cheramie Bruce; one son, Woodrow Adams; two sons-in-law, Gilmay Autin and Eugene Hatcher; one daughter, Ouida Autin; two brothers, Herman Bruce and Marce (Mott) Bruce; three children, Nettie Plaisance, Leona Callais, Julia Herbert; and one grandchild, Shelly Owen. She enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
