Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Leodia Guidry Johnfroe; two sons, Gerald Johnfroe Sr. and wife, Cheyenne, and Donald Johnfroe Sr. and wife, Marinda; three daughters, Elaine Gaspard and husband, Larry, Jennifer Johnfroe and Patty Griffin and husband, Ben; two brothers, Calvin and Ulysse Johnfroe; five sisters, Letucia Adams, Citolia Duet, Sedonia Duet, Lillian Terrebonne and Beatrice Duet; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ludwig and Donatile Guidry Johnfroe; and one great-grandchild, Avia Guidry. He was a member of St. Joseph Holy Name Society, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 427 and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
