Hollis Bynum

Hollis "Jigger" Bynum Jr., 57, a native of New Orleans and resident of Bayou 
Gauche, died Monday, May 23, 2005.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home 
in Raceland. Services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Blades Bynum; one son, Duston John Bynum; 
three daughters, Elizabeth Benson, Holly Kirk and Maggie Bynum; and four 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Bynum Sr. and Verda Lee Byrd 
Bynum Raines; and his step father, C.M. Raines.

He was the past president of the Live Oak Fire Department in Waggaman and a 
member of the Bayou Gauche Fire Department.
