Melanie Valdez

Melanie P. Valdez, 51, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Christian Faith Fellowship Church 
in Houma, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.

She is survived by one son, Joshua M. Valdez; one daughter, Jessica V. Naquin; 
one brother, Richard "Dickie" Picou; three sisters, Frances P. Doucette, Marie 
Louise P. Fonseca and Lillian P. Theriot; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isadore and Juliana Eschete Picou.

She was a member of Christian Faith Fellowship Church.
