Nakia Bernard						[Photo]

Nakia Prince Bernard, 19, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 
5:45 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Beacon Light Baptist 
Church in Houma. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery in Schriever.

She is survived by her husband, Zawara L. Bernard of Houma; her parents, Earlesy 
III and Sandra Prince of Thibodaux; one son, Devin Z. Bernard of Houma; one 
sister, Martika M. Prince of Thibodaux; and her grandparents, Earlesy Prince Jr. 
of Gibson and Geraldine Collins of Thibodaux.

She was a member of Beacon Light Baptist Church.

She was employed by Pizza Hut.
