Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Terrebonne Plaisance; two sons, Michael and Perry Plaisance; two daughters, Laura Lee Duet and Elaine Knight; one brother, Edwin Plaisance; five sisters, Francis Stevens, Margie Landeche, Jenny DeFelice, Rea Muller and Winnie Camardelle; nine grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Plaisance Sr. and Alida LeBlanc Plaisance; three brothers, Warren, Frank and Emile Plaisance Jr.; one sister, Gonet LeBouef; and one grandchild, Marissa Duet. He was a charter member of the V.F.W. Post No. 8538 of Larose and the American Legion Post of Galliano. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
