Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Mount Olive Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Wilson Calloway; his former wife, Mary Felton; five sons, Earl Calloway and wife, Cynthia, of Midlothian, Va., Eddie Calloway and wife, Joan, of Houma, Ronald Calloway and wife, Angela, of Houma, Paten Calloway Jr. and wife, Lydia, of Rialto, Calif., and Calvin Calloway of Los Angeles; seven daughters, Oceola Pledger and husband, Warb, of Houma; Gwendolyn Bivins and husband, Micheal, of Norristown, Pa., Gail Collins and husband, Albert, of Houma, Janice Antoine of Houma, Celeste Sneeze and husband, Charles, of Houma and Cynthia Neville and Patricia Neville, both of Houma; one brother, Nathaniel Calloway Jr.; 40 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Calloway Sr. and Rosie Hawkins Calloway; two sons, Donald Calloway and Joseph Neville; one brother, James Calloway Sr.; and four sisters, Beatrice Richardson, Lillie Woods, Lucy Calloway and Rose Woolens. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and was a self-employed fence contractor. He was a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church.
