Richard Jefferson					[Photo]

Richard D. Jefferson, 75, a native of Pennsylvania and resident of Houma, died 
at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005.

A memorial service will be held at a later date as he donated his body to 
Louisiana State University.

He is survived by his wife, Martha C. Jefferson; two sons, David Jefferson and 
wife, Jill, and Jamie Guidry and wife, Lisa; three daughters, Gabrielle 
Jefferson, Carol Boyd and husband, Steve, and Cathy Taormina and husband, Dave; 
four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and two brothers.

He was employee of Terrebonne Consolidated Government.
