Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Alice Blanchard Pellegrin; four sons, Burt Paul Pellegrin, Brian David Pellegrin, Dale Gerard Pellegrin and Mark Paul Pellegrin; one brother, Armond Pellegrin; three sisters, Rita Bergeron, Joyce Cox and Brunella Crochet; and seven grandchildren, Nichole, Brad, Eddie, Kevin, Aimee, Tyler and Sarah Pellegrin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Cornelia Chiasson Pellegrin; one brother, Edward Pellegrin; and one sister, Mary Albina P. Chiasson. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and well known for his oil paintings and duck carving. He was also an avid sportsman, a member of Woodmen of the World and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1317. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
