Visitation will be from noon to funeral time Monday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirley Dupre Price of Chauvin; one son, Richard Paul Price of Chauvin; one daughter, Nancy Price Porche and husband, Randy, of Chauvin; one brother, Norris Price Sr. of Chauvin; two sisters, Doris Price Thibodeaux of Labadieville and Beverly Price Boudreaux of Chauvin; and two grandsons, Jake Porche and Dustin Porche of Chauvin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Price and Olive Bourg Price. He was a retired foreman with McDonald Rental Tool. He was a commercial fisherman by trade and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and all it had to offer. He loved to care for animals. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
