Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Robottom Mortuary in Hahnville and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. John Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Leola Dickerson of Thibodaux; two sons, Ronnie Paul Dickerson of St. Rose and John Cook and wife, Pauline, of Mobile, Ala.; two daughters, Angela D. Mack and husband, Jerry, of St. Rose and Antoinette D. Tate and husband, Dwight, of St. Rose; three brothers, Oliver Dickerson and wife, Betty, of Los Angeles, Martin Dickerson Sr. and wife, Rosetta, of Houma, and Raymond Dickerson of Thibodaux; five sisters, Laura D. Harris and husband, Huey, of Houma, Faye D. Fullwood and husband, Leroy, of Milwaukee, Mary Dickerson of Waukeegan, Ill., Willa Dickerson of Thibodaux and Roxanne D. Robin and husband, Scotty, of New Orleans; one sister-in-law, Betty Dickerson; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Talbert Dickerson; his father, Andrew Dickerson Sr.; and two brothers, Andrew Dickerson Jr. and Calvin John "Francis" Dickerson. He was a retired laborer and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan.
