Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at Dunn Church of God, with burial in Delhi Masonic Cemetery. He is survived by his former wife, Bennie Gail Moore Tatum of Bastrop; one son, Mike Tatum and wife, Jackie, of Shreveport; four daughters, Mary Melissa "Lisa Tatum" Crumbley and husband, Chip, of McDonough, Ga., Jennifer Ingles and husband, Tommy, of Eros, Laura Ann Alford and Kimberly Tatum, both of West Monroe; one brother, Bill Tatum of Delhi; two sisters, Mary Ann DeFreese of Girard and Katherine Brown of Delhi; nine grandchildren, Mollie Tatum, Amanda Tatum, Bethany Crumbley, Krista Crumbley, Ben Crumbley, Paul Dupree, Hunter Dupree, T.J. Ingles and Jonas Ingles; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Tatum and Patsy Eldridge Tatum; one stepdaughter, Cheryl Harris Dupree; and three brothers, Tommie Joe, Clyde and Vernon Larry Tatum. He was a retired carpenter, oilfield worker and truck driver. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and spent the past two years in the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Monroe where he had many friends and shared many good memories. He was a member of Dunn Baptist Church. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
