Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church in Grand Bois and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Bourg Baptist Church. Religious service will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Rogers Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Sterling Billiot; one son, Michael Gerard Verdin Jr.; six daughters, Vicki Bonvillain, Michelle Dye, Tabitha Upton, Dodia Matherne, Dena Billiot and Mirdanda Billiot; six brothers, Alcee Billiot Jr., Willie, Douglas, Danny, Donald and Davy; four sisters, Rena Cushing, Louann Verdin, Lori Dehart and Susan Dominique; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Gerard Verdin Sr.; her parents, Alcee and Mildred Billiot; two grandchildren, Michael Billiot and Andrea Vizier; three brothers, Rusty, Dean and Robin; and one sister, Melissa Billiot. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are preferred. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
