The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= June 10. 2005 1:05PM Ethel Trego Ethel Lorraine Trego, 86, a native of Abingdon, Va., and resident of Monmouth, Ill. died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel in Monmouth. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Carroll Vance Trego and wife, Sue of Sanger, Texas, and Claude Allen "Butch" Trego and wife, Tessa of McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Kaylene Louise Blanchard and husband, Mike of Houma; one sister, Dorothy Casteel of Monmouth; four brothers-in-law, Roger Downes of Abingdon, Ill., Herb Trego and wife, Agnes of Monmouth, Dale Trego and wife, Diana of Blandinsville, Ill.; and Clyde Trego and wife, Lucille of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters-in-law; Jane Ketchem of Sun City, Ariz., and Dorothy Lober of Blandinsville; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 10 great- step- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters. She worked at Formfit and Smolers for 31 years and was a parishioner of First Christian Church of Monmouth.
