Eugenie Lajaunie					[Photo]

Eugenie Marie Brunet Lajaunie, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Houma, died at 5:50 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. to funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 
a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Willard P. Lajaunie Jr. and wife, Katharine, of 
Leander, Texas; two daughters, Janet L. Lapeyrouse and husband, Eris, and 
Shirley L. Gautreaux and husband, Camille, of Houma; one daughter-in-law, Glenda 
LeBlanc of Houma; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Paul Lajaunie Sr.; her 
parents, Theodore Brunet Sr. and Marie LeBoeuf Brunet; one son, Randal P. 
Lajaunie; seven brothers, Maurice, Harris, Alphonse, Paul, Theodore Jr., Simon 
and Marius Brunet; and two sisters, Lucia B. Hutchinson and Francoise B. Danos.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
