Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Larose. Wake service will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Edora Grigsby and husband, Michael, of Houston, and Ezolia Johnson and husband, Lee Parks, of Larose; three brothers, Issac Vallien and Joseph Vallien of Larose and the Rev. Austin Dennis of Westwego; two sisters, Sarah Mae Sam of Carencro and Elsie Mae Thomas of Houston; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Bellard Sr.; one son, Mitchell Bellard Jr.; and three brothers, Ivory Vallian, Izeal Vallian and Easton Dennis. She was a member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church and served on the Deaconess Board.
