The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= June 05. 2005 12:16AM Glenn Thibodeaux [Photo] Glenn Paul Thibodeaux, 58, a native of Houma and resident of Grand Caillou, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Luke Thibodeaux, of Grand Caillou; his mother, Stella Clarisse Levron Thibodeaux, of Houma; one son, Corey Thibodeaux and fiancée, Ramena Dean, of Houma; one daughter, April Thibodeaux Marcel and husband, Corey, of Houma; three brothers, Mark and Carl Thibodeaux of Houma and Allen Thibodeaux of Matthews; one sister, Patricia Martin, of Metairie; and five grandchildren, Kodie and Blaize Marcel; Colby Dean Thibodeaux, Camie Dean and Lyza Thibodeaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Joseph Thibodeaux. He was a boat captain with Delta Towing and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Vietnam War and belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7722 and V.F.W. Post 4752. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
