Visitation and service times will be announced at a later date. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Stella Dias Phillips of Houma; four sons, Charles A. Phillips and wife, Donna, of Houma, Ivan Phillips and wife, Yvonne, of Ontario, Canada, Godfrey A. Phillips and Richard Phillips of Dubai, U.A.E; three daughters, Susie Hill and husband, Terry, of England, Judy Alkabt and husband, Hassan, of Dubai and Debbie Crossland of England; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Alexander Phillips and Mary Griffiths Phillips. He was retired from law-enforcement service with the India Police Department. He served in the Royal British Army during World War II and was a Prisoner of War in Germany for two years. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Stella Dias Phillips of Houma; four sons, Charles A. Phillips and wife, Donna, of Houma, Ivan Phillips and wife, Yvonne, of Ontario, Canada, Godfrey A. Phillips and Richard Phillips of Dubai, U.A.E.; three daughters, Susie Hill and husband, Terry, of England, Judy Alkabt and husband, Hassan, of Dubai, and Debbie Crossland of England; 11 grandchildren, Johnathan Phillips, N'tasha Phillips, Marsha Vigneault, Trevor Phillips, Graham Hill, Raymond Hill, Mark Hill, Michael Hill, Mona Alkabt, Stephan Crossland and Olivia Crossland; and two great-grandchildren, Aidan Vigneault and Christopher Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Alexander Phillips and Mary Griffiths Phillips. He was a retired law-enforcement officer with the India Police Department, served in the Royal British Army in World War II and was a P.O.W. in Germany for two years. He was a member of Shady Acres Senior Citizens and Bluff Lodge. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
