Lovinia Morvant

Lovinia Morvant, 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Saturday, June 18, 
2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home Chapel and 
from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Mass will be at 
10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church Cemetery in Chackbay.

She is survived by two brothers, Artney Morvant and Weavis Morvant; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gillis Morvant and Julia Percle 
Morvant; three brothers, Harris "Jim" Morvant, Wilbert Morvant and Joseph 
Morvant; and one sister, Lillian Morvant Adams.
