Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Richard Falgout of Houma; three sisters, Irene Robichaux, Mildred Leonard and husband, Vincent, and Marie Carriere, all of Houma; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Joseph Falgout; her parents, Noah Charles Melancon and Marie Tabor Melancon; one son, Hugh Falgout; two brothers, Amos and Ulysses Melancon; and two brothers-in-law, James Robichaux and Murphy Carriere. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
