Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Olevia Robinson Cleveland of Raceland; seven sons, Morell Jr., Raymond Sr., Nelson, Jerry Sr. and Carl Cleveland, all of Raceland, Harold Cleveland of Houma and Willie Cleveland of Thibodaux; two daughters, Ora Rose of Thibodaux and Elaine Cleveland of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Oscar and Morris Cleveland of Raceland and George Cleveland of New Orleans; two sisters, Sedonia and Lizzie Cleveland of Raceland; 32 grandchildren; and 43 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ada Cleveland; one daughter, Cora Thomas; one brother, Samuel Charles; three sisters, Edna Cleveland, Evelina Wilson and Lillian Cleveland; and his grandparents, Samuel and Sylvia Lane. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
