Sherman Bolden						[Photo]

Sherman "Wookie Cat" Bolden, 60, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died 
at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, June 19, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Rock of Ages Baptist 
Church. Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, with 
burial in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Harris Bolden; two sons, Micheal Kenny and 
DaShawn Bolden; one daughter, Taleka S. Bolden; four brothers, Rudolph Bolden, 
Henry Bolden Sr., Donald Bolden Sr. and Freddie Bolden; two sisters, Audrine B. 
Harris and Doretha B. White; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Bolden Sr. and Bertha S. Bolden; 
two brothers, Ralph Bolden Jr. and Alfred Bolden; and one sister, Naomi B. 
Taylor.

He worked for Sears Roebuck for 15 years and Bonvillian Pharmacy for three 
years.

He was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church.
