Landry, 62, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou Blue, died at 9 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2005. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Samart Funeral Home. Religious services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Florence Floore Landry; his former wife, Beverly Joy Landry; two step-children, Anna Lemoine and husband, Michael, and James Floore; three sons, Ted Landry II, Shawn M. Landry and wife, Darcus, and Jody C. Landry and wife, Stephanie; two daughters, Rebecca D. Marcel and husband, Clyde, and Christina L. Landry; one brother, Terry Landry; three sisters, Mary Lou Landry and husband, Wayne "Poochie", Cindy M. Crochet, Becky M. Spencer; four grandchildren, Amiee, Spencer, Emma and Caleb; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Landry and Rita D. Landry; and two brothers, Stewart Deslatte and Pat A. Landry. He served in the Air Force for four years and was a long-standing member for the West Houma Lion's Club. He was Lion of the Year, Knight of Sight and received the Melvin Jones Award. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Louisiana Lion's Crippled Children's Camp. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
