Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Joy Marie Duplantis Luke of Chauvin; one granddaughter, Delilah Marie Luke of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nemes Thomas Duplantis; her parents, Elphege Lapeyrouse and Emma LeBlanc Lapeyrouse; four brothers, Abby, Henry, Arthur and Lynwood Lapeyrouse; and two sisters, Lydia Boudreaux and Pearl Hutchinson. She was a homemaker, a member of Ward 7 Citizens Club and an avid bingo player. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
