Berle Garrie						[Photo]

Berle Marie Garrie, 79, a native of Montegut and resident of Vinton, died at 4 
p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005.

Funeral services were held in Vinton.

She is survived by three sons, David Garrie and wife, Patsy, of Highlands, 
Texas, Douglas Garrie and wife, Lynnette, of Baytown, Texas, and Gerald Garrie 
and wife, Peggy, of Houston; two daughters, Cindi Hebert of Vinton and Martie 
Garrie of Baytown; one sister, Janice Comeaux of Berwick; one brother, Werlien 
Prosperie of Houma; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Garrie; her parents, 
Florence Marie Robicheaux Prosperie and Nicholas Noel Prosperie; and two 
brothers Walton J. Prosperie and Virgis Prosperie.

She was a devoted, dedicated and loving mother.

Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton was in charge of arrangements.
