Claude Veasey Jr.

Claude Ned "Bill" Veasey Jr., 82, a native of Lafayette, died Wednesday, July 
13, 2005, at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at Delhomme Moss Chapel in Lafayette. Funeral service will be at 10 
a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, Dale Veasey and wife, Rachel, of Houma; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Veasey Sr. and Carrie Benoit 
Veasey; his wife, Buna R. Veasey; one sister, Francis Cobaley; and one brother, 
Raymond Veazey.

He retired from Lafayette Fire Dept. after 28 years of service and was a U.S. 
World War II Navy veteran.
