Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum. He is survived by his wife, Stella Badeaux Leonard; one son, Wayne Leonard and wife, Corrine; two daughters, Janice L. Arceneaux and Mona L. Gisclair and husband, Billy; one brother, Neddy Cheramie; one sister, Earline L. Cheramie; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Octavie Cheramie and Rene Leonard; one brother, Raymond Leonard; one sister, Rose Marie Leonard; and one son-in-law, Milton Arceneaux. He was a barber for 57 years and U.S. World War II Army veteran. He was a choir member, reader, commentator and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
