Donald Danos Sr.

Donald Danos Sr., 77, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 8:10 a.m. 
Wednesday, July 20, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral Home 
in Raceland. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Adams Danos; two sons, Donald Jr. and wife, 
Karen, and Troy and wife, Maria, Danos; one daughter, Cindy Copeland and 
husband, Steve; two brothers, Waul and Lloyd Danos; one sister, Eula Foret; and 
one granddaughter, Jennifer Copeland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armond and Eugenie Guichet Danos; five 
brothers, Armond "T-Mon", Edmond, Enos, Norman and Hughes Danos; and one sister, 
Cornelia Danos.

He was employed 30 years in the Lafourche Parish School System as a teacher and 
coach and served two years in the U.S. Army Paratroopers.

He enjoyed sports, running and traveling.

He was Catholic.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
