Donald Verdin						[Photo]

Donald Ray "D-Ray Duck" Verdin, 26, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident 
of Houma, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Community Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with 
burial in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Basil Wiggis Verdin and Dorothy Mae Sharp; two 
sons, Donald Ray Schoell and Sean Paul Micheal Verdin, both of Houma; two 
daughters, Angel Rose Schoell and Jodieann Marie Verdin, both of Houma; four 
brothers, Wiggis B. Verdin, Wiggis J. Verdin, Bart Verdin and Soloman Verdin 
Jr.; and four sisters, Delores Domangue, Sharon Hebert, Belinda Verdin and 
Felicia Sharp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, April Michelle Verdin.

He was a deckhand operator with Delta Towing Company.

A Verdin Memorial Fund has been set up at Whitney National Bank.
