Dwaine Garlington Sr.

Dwaine "Dog" Garlington Sr., 58, a native of Effie and resident of Galliano, 
died at 7:55 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home 
in Galliano. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 
with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Esponge Garlington; his mother, Blanche 
Overton Garlington; one son, Dwaine "D.J." Garlington Jr.; two daughters, 
Elizabeth Garlington and Jamie Guidry and husband, Chad; three brothers, Rodney, 
Alton and Joe Garlington; one sister, Karen G. Jones; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Praither "Buck" Garlington.

He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the America 
Legion Post No. 315.
