Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by one son, Michael E. Hebert and wife, Karen, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; three daughters, Dolores Mire and husband, Jerome, Dawn Daigle and husband, Michael G., and Denise Johnson and husband, Philip, of Houma; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Guidry Hebert; his parents, Cleomere Hebert and Ursule Broussard Hebert; 12 brothers, Oris, Odilon, Ovide, Otto, Ougustin, Oscar, Ouraure, Olton, Octa, Ovey, Ora and Aurelie Hebert; and three sisters, Olita Hebert, Orella Bailey and Olive Mayard. He was a retired toll test technician from South Central Bell Telephone and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was past president of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
