Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by three sons, Sidney Adams Jr. and wife, Linda, of Clovis, Calif., Anthony Adams and wife, Gloria, of Virginia Beach, Va., and John Adams and wife, Myra, of Gray; three daughters, Yvonne Guidry and husband, Bruce, of Montegut, Pamela Duplantis and husband, Marshall, of Raceland, and Donna Darcey and husband, Terry, of Houma; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Joseph Adams Sr.; her parents, Thomas William McDonald Sr. and Gladys Vivian Medd McDonald; one daughter, Tina Marie Adams; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Cortez; one brother, Thomas McDonald Jr.; and three sisters, Margaret Watts, Gladys McDonald Bylett and Dinah McDonald. She was a homemaker and a veteran of British Air Corps of World War II. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heritage Manor Activity Department or Kidney Foundation, 8200 Hampton, New Orleans, LA 70001.
