Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Schoonenberg Jr. of New Orleans and John Schoonenberg and wife, Rhonda, of Houma; one daughter, Catherine Nancy Schoonenberg Smith of New Orleans; one sister, Anna Mae Guidry of Houma; and six grandchildren, Alaine Smith, Sarah Smith, Robert Smith, William Smith, Spencer Rome Schoonenberg and Emily Louise Schoonenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Boyne and Mary Belanger Boyne; three brothers, Ronald, Thomas and Bernard Boyne; and three sisters, Mercedese Vaillemot, Emma Strada and Rosemary Boyne. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
