Guidry Jr., 67, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Galliano, died at 8:58 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by his wife, Annie "Tina" L. Guidry; two daughters, Debra "Pepi" Guidry and Anne Guidry and companion, Joey J. Boudreaux; two brothers, Norman and Rielly Guidry; two sisters, Mary G. Evans and Corrine G. Courville; and four grandchildren, Phil Guidry and Adeline, Joeby and Leah Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris Guidry Sr. and Esoline Anselmi Guidry; one son, Dwayne Guidry; one infant brother, Vinton Guidry; and one sister, Rose Mae G. Rodrigue. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a retired tugboat captain who enjoyed fishing, gardening and working at the net shop. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
