Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hebert Moore; two daughters, Anna Moore Cole and husband, David W. Cole, and Dana Moore Gros and husband, Keith J. Gros; two brothers, Donald D. Moore and James H. Ainsworth; and five grandchildren, Kaylee, Megan and Ethan Cole and Mason and Madison Gros. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. "Booster" Moore and Inez Duncan Moore. He was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. He was a graduate of McLeod High School in McLeod, Texas. He previously served as a deacon at St. Hilary and St. Anthony Catholic churches. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his many beloved friends. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
