Justine Duplantis					[Photo]

Justine Blanchard Duplantis, 88, a native of Theriot and resident of Chauvin, 
died Wednesday, July 20, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Chauvin. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

She is survived by two daughters, Genevieve Chauvin and Janice Peltier; one 
sister, Margaret Bergeron and husband, Evans; six grandchildren, Louise 
Lapeyrouse and husband, Mark, Chris Chauvin and wife, Joann, Everett Chauvin and 
wife, Michelle, Patrick Peltier and wife, Carrie, Nathan Peltier and wife, 
Nadine, and Colleen Rousse and husband, Kevin; 15 great-grandchildren; six 
great-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene' T. Duplantis; her parents, Abele 
and Eulicia Blanchard; one son-in-law, Curman Chauvin; two brothers, Clifford 
Blanchard and John Charles; and four sisters, Felicia Rodrigue, Jeanne Rhodes, 
Annie Bergeron and Judith Dupre.

She was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society and a resident of the Oaks.

She was enjoyed going to the camp and fishing with her late husband and family. 
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was loved by many.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
