Laura "Chubby" Sapia, 46, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 5:22 p.m. 
Saturday, July 23, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home in Raceland. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday 
at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Sapia; her mother, Lois Terrebonne 
Vizier; two daughters, Jenny Sapia and Janis Sapia; and four sisters, Nina V. 
Bernard, Susan V. Robichaux, Theresa V. Larmeu and Yvonne V. Melvin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rhenhart Lou Vizier; and one brother, 
Darwin Michael Vizier.

She was Catholic.
