Leonard Cooks Jr.					[Photo]

Leonard Cooks Jr., 60, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 2:25 p.m. 
Sunday, July 3, 2005.

Visitation will be from 7:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Moses Baptist Church 
in Thibodaux. Dismissal service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Kendra Cooks; one brother, Samuel Cooks; and one 
sister, Mary Cooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Cooks Sr. and Alberta Deboue 
Cooks; one brother, Joseph Cooks Sr.; and two sisters, Leona Robertson and 
Bernice Cooks.

He worked 30 years at Northrop Grumman Shipyard (formerly Avondale Shipyard).
