Margaret Johnson					[Photo]

Margaret Johnson, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
Tuesday, June 26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at First Corinthian 
Baptist Church. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial in Deweyville Cemetery.

She is survived by three grandsons, Bryan Johnson and wife, Tammy, of Vacherie, 
Corey Johnson and wife, Brandie, of Houma and Joaquin Green and wife, Yokesha, 
of Houma; one granddaughter, Stephanie Verrett Allen of Houma; one adopted 
grandson, Carnell R. Taplett of Houma; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Ida Mitter; and one 
daughter, Shirley Johnson.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Corinthain Baptist Church.

Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
