Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Keith Manning and wife, Sue, of Thibodaux, and Randy Manning and wife, Tena, of Houma; two daughters, Audrey M. Morrison and husband, Jerry, of Houston, and Cindy M. Bonvillain and husband, Mark "Snoop," of Houma; one brother, James "Smooky" Manning of Houston; and eight grandchildren, Joshua Manning, Sunny Manning, Carrie Manning, Shane Manning, Mitchell Morrison, Reed Bonvillain, Marcelle Morrison and Amy Bonvillain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie Amy Breaux Manning; his parents, Buck Manning and Carrie Guerrant Manning; and one brother, Glen Manning. He was part owner of Seismic Experts Group and Manor Exploration and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
