Nora Eschete

Nora Cecile Savin Eschete, 90, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Houma, died at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur Eschete and wife, Rose, and Alva J. Eschete 
and wife, Felicie, of Houma; two daughters, Linda Scheer and Ida Eschete of 
Houma; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Anthony Eschete; her parents, 
Onezip Savin and Antoinette Garribotte Savin; five brothers, O'Neil, Jim, Emile, 
Narcisse and Dennis Savin; and two sisters, Linda Savin and Agnes Authement.

She was a homemaker.
