Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by his wife, Lorina Gisclair Griffin; two sons, Dean Griffin and wife, Laura, and Daniel Griffin and wife, Denise; one daughter, Merry Lee G. Angelle and husband, Glenn; one daughter-in-law, Joan Cheramie; two brothers, Nolty "Coon" Griffin and Larry Griffin; two sisters, Lorita G. Guidry and Nancy G. Lasseigne; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norcelia Guidry Griffin and Paul Griffin Sr.; one son, Norman Griffin Jr.; and five brothers, Paul Jr., Louis Sr., Wilkin, Alvin and Dudley Griffin. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a retired Texaco employee.
