Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Magnus "Butch" Lecompte; six brothers, Loney, O'Neal, Leroy and Junius Foret and Hewitt and Roy Thibodeaux; four sisters, Eula Foret, Helen Naquin, Beatrice Gisclair and Notesia Bunker; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce A. Lecompte; her parents, Eugene Foret and Sidolia Henry Foret and Paul and Felicia H. Thibodeaux; one grandchild, Joseph Lecompte; five brothers, Jervis, Eulan and Harold "Horace" Foret and Lawrence and Clarence Authement; and 10 sisters, Dorita Chauvin, Odelia Sevin, Helena A. Forrest and Florence Chauvin, Hazel Robicheaux, Stella T. Neal, Della T. Fanguy, Bella T. Fanguy and Hattie and Maggie Foret. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
