Patrick Berniard					[Photo]

Patrick "Pat" Evans Berniard, 62, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, 
died at 12:09 p.m. Thurs-day, July 21, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. 
Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. 
Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Adams Berniard of Houma; one son, Scott 
Berniard of Houma; one daughter, Natalie O'Shea and husband, Craig, of Houma; 
one sister, Judith "Judy" B. Landry and husband, Gary, of Houma; and one 
grandchild, Evan O'Shea.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Berniard and Hilda Evans 
Berniard; his stepmother, Mildred Berniard; his maternal grandparents, Thomas J. 
Evans and Julia Boudreaux Evans; and his paternal grandparents, Numa Berniard 
and Helena Burton Berniard.

He was a retired cable splicer from BellSouth of 30 years and was a U.S. Army 
veteran.

He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a parishioner of St. 
Bernadette Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
